HSM premium
The HSM premium restraint system is available as a semi-automatic (HRS) or automatic (ERS) version with safety folding brackets. It replaces the lap belt in most applications and offers the rider more freedom of movement. HSM premium is legally compliant and can be easily retrofitted to any forklift model in accordance with the applicable guidelines. The ergonomic design allows unrestricted operation and is suitable for riders of any stature. HSM offers specially adapted one- and two-part systems for older forklift models.
HRS-E Duo und ERS-Duo II-Systeme

The HRS and ERS Duo system from the HSM premium line offers a space-saving two-part variant for forklift trucks with limited space inside the driver’s cab. The safety bars are mounted on both sides of the roof bars (B-pillar) to fit into tight cab spaces. The quick-fit installation kit is suitable for all forklift types and is available for both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and retrofits.
HRS-E Duo II und HRS-E Duo Schwenk II
The two-part HRS-E Duo-II restraint system from HSM is designed for the left and right side of the vehicle. The bar on the left-hand side can be easily pushed inwards to unlock it. It opens upwards automatically and stays in contour, allowing the driver to exit the vehicle easily, even in tight spaces. The drive release is only active when the bar is closed, as an immobilizer is activated by a magnetic switch when the bar is open. When released, the bar closes and locks automatically. The bar on the right-hand side remains fixed and is only used to open the hood. The HRS-E Duo-II swivel version allows the bracket to be folded upwards and outwards, making it easier to get in and out of the vehicle and to access the battery on certain models.
HSM premium with ERS system automatically opens the left safety bar as soon as the driver releases the handbrake. The right bracket remains permanently installed. When leaving the forklift truck, the driver applies the handbrake, whereupon the bracket automatically opens upwards or outwards. This not only secures the driver, but also prevents the truck from rolling away unintentionally.
