Trailer couplings
The trailer couplings from HSM for agricultural, forestry and commercial vehicles are characterized by their exceptional strength and stability. They are produced at the company headquarters in Ernsgaden. Either high-strength cast steel or resistant cast iron with spheroidal graphite is used. In order to meet the high demands of daily use, we subject our couplings to a large number of careful and continuous tests. This ensures their high load-bearing capacity, reliability and durability.
The robust and solid couplings, which are manufactured in German workmanship from highly compacted material, effectively absorb shocks and movements that can occur when driving with attached systems.
Components & systems for 3-point suspension
The three-point suspension, invented by Harry Ferguson, is the standard interface for tractors to connect to agricultural implements. Our HSM products for three-point suspension enable safe and stable transportation and easy handling of field devices. They can be quickly adapted to ground conditions and precisely adjusted.
HSM manufactures these components according to strict quality specifications and uses precise safety welding techniques in accordance with DIN 3438-2 of the German Accreditation Body (DAkks) and DVSzert standards. Our quality management is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 TÜV Rheinland.

Stabilisers
As part of the three-point suspension, stabilisers and stabiliser struts enable comprehensive stabilisation of the lower links and the mounted implement on the tractor. This is particularly important during transportation and when working on uneven terrain. The adjustable spring elements prevent the suspended loads from swinging upwards and thus make a significant contribution to the stability and safety of the tractor and trailer combination.
Hydraulic top link
The hydraulic top link makes it easy to adjust the angle of the coupled implement or attachment. In contrast to the mechanical top link, the hydraulic top link is operated directly from the tractor seat by the driver. A plus in terms of safety and comfort.
The top link is designed as a hydraulic cylinder and, thanks to the unlockable control valve and in combination with the extremely stable hook, allows optimum adjustment of attached implements or loads.
The use of an HSM top link reduces shock loads and thus ensures noticeably better damping. This leads to greater driving comfort, less wear and tear on components and parts, optimized driving performance and increased safety in various driving situations.

Top link holder
HSM develops and produces top link holders that are suitable for various top link types from leading tractor manufacturers. Attention is paid to the highest quality standards and durable materials. Each top link bracket is manufactured with precision to ensure optimum fit and functionality.
The components are rust-inhibiting coated as standard to ensure a long service life. At the customer’s request, they can also be powder-coated, which offers additional protection and an attractive appearance. These coating options ensure that the top link holders work reliably even under demanding conditions.

Lower link
HSM manufactures and sells complete lower links with patented catch hooks (strut with hook) in close cooperation with leading tractor manufacturers. These innovative catch hooks, developed in-house by HSM, can be welded and provide a reliable connection. They are also available separately so that they can be retrofitted or replaced if necessary.
The lower links and catch hooks from HSM undergo stringent testing procedures in independent test laboratories. In particular, the load-bearing safety hooks are subject to a specified endurance test to ensure their load-bearing capacity and reliability. These tests ensure that HSM products offer outstanding performance even under demanding conditions.
