It replaces the lap belt in most applications and offers the rider more freedom of movement. HSM premium is legally compliant and can be easily retrofitted to any forklift model in accordance with the applicable guidelines. The ergonomic design allows unrestricted operation and is suitable for riders of any stature. The safety bars are mounted on both sides of the roof bars (B-pillar) to fit into tight cab spaces. The bar on the left-hand side can be easily pushed inwards to unlock it. It opens upwards automatically and stays in contour, allowing the driver to exit the vehicle easily, even in tight spaces. The drive release is only active when the bar is closed, as an immobilizer is activated by a magnetic switch when the bar is open. When released, the bar closes and locks automatically. The bar on the right-hand side remains fixed and is only used to open the hood. The right bracket remains permanently installed. When leaving the forklift truck, the driver applies the handbrake, whereupon the bracket automatically opens upwards or outwards.
